Onlays

Usually, onlays are thin pieces of leather adhered to the spine to give a contrast to the cover leather. Black onlays are typically used, but it really can be any color of leather you want. The spine stamping typically goes on the onlay making it standout better. Onlays start at $30 each.

Onlays can also be used to save a portion of the old cover that has special meaning to you. In this case, we cut the old cover apart and adhere the portions that you want saved to the new cover.
