Holy Bible

Included in the base cost is the words “Holy Bible” stamped on the front cover and on the spine. You don’t have to have it stamped, but there is no extra charge for it. We have several styles available. The larger font sizes are generally suitable for the front cover and the smaller sizes generally work for the spine. You can have the words side-by-side as shown in the photos or you can have them stacked one above the other. Side-by-side generally works well for the front cover and vertically stacked generally works best for the spine.

The Caslon font is an all around good choice. It’s Bold enough to stand out and has a clean look. We carry it in 36pt (1/2″), 24pt (1/3″), and 14pt (3/16″). The 24pt can be used on the spine of larger Bibles and on the front of smaller bibles.

The American Script font works really well if you are seeking a less formal look on your Bible. We carry it in a 36pt (1/2″), and a 16pt (7/32″). The 36pt is for the front cover while the 16pt is for the spine.

The Old English font has a very formal look. It is best used when recreating older styles or Bibles with a traditional style although some people just like the way it looks. We carry it in a 54pt (3/4″), 24pt (1/3″), and a 14pt (3/16″) size. The 54pt and 24pt work very well on just about any leather. The 24pt does require a leather with a harder finish because of the fine details. If you have any question about whether the small font will work for you, please don’t hesitate to ask us. In addition, if we find that the leather you select will not work with the 24pt, we will contact you before proceeding.

Additionally, any of the fonts listed on our Titling/Names page can be used to create the “Holy Bible” stamps.
